The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today the team’s protected players list for the 2012-13 season. The Wranglers have first right of refusal on any player named to the team’s list, and they can sign the players before another team in the ECHL.
The Wranglers’ protected list includes 24 players comprised of two goaltenders, eight defensemen and 14 forwards. The complete list is below:

Teams are allowed to protect as many players as they wish provided the players protected meet guidelines defined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association.
