With the 2012 Kelly Cup Finals ending just last week, the Las Vegas Wranglers announced their complete 2012-13 season schedule today. This will be the Wranglers’ 10th season of hockey in Las Vegas, and a full promotional schedule will be announced closer to the start of the season in October.
The 2012-13 season opens on the road against the Bakersfield Condors on Sunday, Oct. 14, and the Wranglers will play their first home game on Friday, Oct. 19, against the Stockton Thunder. The upcoming season also sees the addition of the San Francisco Bulls to the Western Conference, and the Wranglers first play the newly formed team on Thursday, Nov. 29.
Las Vegas will play three teams in the Eastern Conference this season – the Orlando Solar Bears, the Trenton Titans, and the Reading Royals. Orlando will travel to the Orleans Arena for two home games on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, and the Wranglers will head to New Jersey and Pennsylvania for three road games at the end of January.
For the 10th season in a row, the Wranglers will play hockey at midnight, with the first game on Sunday, Dec. 16, against the Condors, and the second game on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, against the Idaho Steelheads. “Over 18 Night” returns for a fourth season on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, when the Wranglers face the Colorado Eagles.
